River Muse Art Gallery & Studio... ...where creativity flows
I'm from the Finger Lakes region of New York, became an Eagle Scout just prior to turning 18 and joined the Army under delayed enlistment on my 18th birthday. Left for basic shortly after graduating in July of 74 was active for 5 years as a Military Policeman, was injured during an incident and ended up leaving the Army for a VA Hospital in Buffalo. After approximately 2 years I was more or less rehabilitated and returned to active duty and retired in 1997. I then processed for the New York Department of Corrections and became a Officer in 1998 and retired from it on 31 Oct 2016. Since that time I've been working as a Freelance Photographer trying to find and share unique photos of everyday things, but in my own way, sometimes people seem to like what I share. I've been involved with photography ever since I received a Kodak 110 cartridge camera as a gift. While active duty I shot 35mm for crime scenes and hundreds of traffic accidents and it seems I'm always learning something new to do with light management within a photo and find it to be a great place to be at this point in my life. Having my photos displayed at the River Muse is a first for me, hope that someone may find joy in some of my art.
