Lisa is mainly a watercolor artist but also enjoys acrylic, collage, conceptual art and intuitive painting. Although she chose to major in accounting and business management, her first love was always art. Her first true art class began after the birth of her son in 1995. It was a beginner watercolor class with Rochester artist, Judy Soprano (her mentor and self-proclaimed second mother). From there, her practice was kicked into high gear. Other instructors that have been pivotal in her creative growth include Edwina Farnand (who introduced her to collage), Lynn Whipple & Carla Sonheim to name a few.
Lisa’s work has been in national and international shows and received multiple awards. She teaches private lessons and leads a day-long workshop called Courage, Creation and Connection that incorporates intuitive painting, yoga, meditation, massage and intuitive guidance and life coaching. She is also finishing the process of designing a body of watercolor work that depicts life in the 1000 Islands is displayed at Bella’s Café in Clayton, NY for their 2019 season and will again be there for the upcoming 2020 season.

Lisa is the mother of two amazing adult children, Jackie and Adam and has been married to her supportive and loving husband, Paul for 31 years.
Lisa also teaches Intuitive Painting; De-Stress Your Mind workshops through the Rochester Brainery several times a year. It’s something that brings such positive light and joy to her space and life!
Her studio is located in Anderson Alley Arts Building, Studio 212, in the Neighborhood of the Arts (NOTA) of Rochester, NY and also had a studio in the 1000 Islands, her other home base. She’d love to have you stop by sometime!
